Stacey Hero

Stacey is motivated to bring new transformative therapies to patients, and as the SVP of BD at TRV -- the ability to accelerate this through the power of partnership.  She has spent the last 15 years working in discovery, corporate strategy, and business development spanning multiple modalities and disease areas. 

Prior to TRV, she held roles of increasing responsibility in corporate and business development at LifeMine Therapeutics and ElevateBio where she led projects from pipeline prioritization to partnering activities with academic institutions and large pharma. Stacey spent several years at L.E.K. Consulting working with biotech and pharma clients on high impact projects including BD strategy / support and commercial assessments.  Stacey began her career as a bench scientist in the biopharma division of Unilever.  She holds a B.S.E. from Duke University in Biomedical Engineering and a Ph.D. from Yale University where she studied nanoparticle vaccines and the T cell response.

Outside of TRV, you can find Stacey attempting new yoga poses, unsuccessfully submitting New Yorker cartoon captions with her husband, and asking her three wonderful children yet again to speak at a normal volume.
