Rebecca Mancusi

As an associate at TRV, Rebecca focuses on translating early-stage science into meaningful therapeutics for patients. Rebecca brings a deep passion for entrepreneurship and company creation to her work, and is particularly energized by the strategy and operations which drive scientific innovation. 

Prior to joining Third Rock, Rebecca completed her Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at Stanford University, where her research focused on cancer neuroscience. Her immense scientific curiosity was nurtured through her early training with leaders in immunology and oncology at Regeneron, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Mount Sinai Medical Center, providing her with a deep scientific perspective across disease areas.  During her time in the Bay Area, she served in multiple advisory roles at early-stage biotech startups and venture firms, working closely with founders and investors to help navigate the intersection of science and strategy. At TRV, Rebecca is excited to innovate with world-class academics, industry leaders, and medical experts to create transformative medicines for patients. 

Outside of TRV, Rebecca enjoys exploring new cities near and far- though she’s most loyal to her NY roots, often found roaming through Central Park or catching a baseball game with her family and friends (Let’s Go Mets!).
