John Dunlop

John brings more than 25 years of experience in neuroscience drug discovery and development to Third Rock. Prior to joining TRV, he was Chief Scientific Officer at Aliada Therapeutics until its acquisition by Abbvie in late 2024, and previously was head of Research and Development at Neumora Therapeutics. Prior to that he held a number of senior R&D leadership roles at multiple organizations including Amgen, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Wyeth. John is a board member of Target-ALS, a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating drug discovery and development in ALS and is on the scientific advisory board of the Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins.

Outside of the office you might find John running by the Charles River or exploring many of the great restaurants that Boston has to offer with his family.
