Eric Green

Dr. Eric Green is a physician-scientist and entrepreneur who has spent the past decade working with Third Rock and its portfolio companies to translate insights from the human genome into new medicines. His favorite part of working with Third Rock is its combination of bold dreams with determination and focus on execution. Eric has launched and built multiple Third Rock portfolio companies, including MyoKardia (acquired by BMS) and Maze Therapeutics, where he was the Chief Scientific Officer. Prior to joining Third Rock, Eric co-founded ILab Solutions, a provider of web-based software and services designed to streamline scientific research, which was acquired by Agilent, and Respira Design, a medical device company treating asthma in the developing world, which won the Stanford $50K Entrepreneurship Challenge. Eric is a board-certified physician trained in internal medicine and cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an adjunct faculty member at Stanford. He holds an M.D. and Ph.D. in chemical and systems biology from Stanford and an A.B. in history and science from Harvard.
