Kelly has an interest in STEM education and has developed curricula and taught classes through The Innovation Institute in Newton, MA. During her Ph.D. at MIT, Kelly was a Hertz Foundation Fellow, an NSF GRFP Fellow, and a Siebel Scholar, and she was recognized as a Boston Business Journal 40 Under 40 Awardee in 2018.
