Bobby Azamian joined Third Rock Ventures in 2009. He focuses on new company formation and due diligence. He is also actively involved in the support and management of certain portfolio companies, particularly those with a medical device focus.

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Bobby was a scientific consultant at Amgen. He currently practices medicine as a hospitalist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Bobby holds an MD from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology; a DPhil in Chemistry from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar; and a BA in Physics from Rice University.

Jake Bauer

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Jake was a Management Consultant at Putnam Associates, a member of the investment team at Royalty Pharma, and the business development group at Endo Pharmaceuticals.

Jake holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Biology and a BA in Economics from Duke University.

Jason Fuller, PhD

Jason Fuller joined Third Rock Ventures in 2008. He focuses on new company formation and due diligence. He is also actively involved in the support and management of various portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Jason held engineering roles at Baxter Healthcare and 3M. He has also been involved in the formation and development of multiple start-up companies, and was awarded the Pat McGovern Entrepreneurship Award for his contributions to entrepreneurship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jason holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under Dr. Robert Langer as an NSF Fellow. He also holds an M.Phil. in Engineering from Cambridge University as a Churchill Scholar and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. Jason serves on the board of the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition.

Kiran Reddy, MD

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Kiran was a management consultant at the Lewin Group within in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice.

Kiran holds MD and MBA degrees from Georgetown University and is a board certified neurologist completing his training at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers in the field of neuroimmunology and neurodegenerative diseases.

Mikhail Shapiro, PhD

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Mikhail was a co-Founder of Cyberkinetics Neurotechnology Systems, a neurology medical device company focused on neural prosthetics, and Epernicus, an enterprise software company serving major pharma, biotech and academic customers.

Mikhail holds a PhD in Biological Engineering at MIT working with Robert Langer as a Hertz Fellow and Soros Fellow and a BSc in Neuroscience from Brown University.
