OUR TEAM

 

Jason Fuller serves as a Third Rock Ventures Principal, a position to which he was promoted after joining the company as Senior Associate in 2008. Jason focuses on new company formation, due diligence and is also actively involved in the support and management of various portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Jason held engineering roles at Baxter Healthcare and 3M.  He has also been involved in the formation and development of multiple start-up companies, and was awarded the Pat McGovern Entrepreneurship Award for his contributions to entrepreneurship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jason holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under Dr. Robert Langer as an NSF Fellow. He also holds an M.Phil. in Engineering from Cambridge University as a Churchill Scholar and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. Jason serves on the board of the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition.

Neil Kumar joined Third Rock Ventures in 2011. As a principal, he focuses on new company formation and due diligence.

Prior to joining Third Rock, Neil was an associate principal at McKinsey & Company, where he developed strategies for pharmaceutical and medical device companies and helped lead McKinsey's Personalized Medicine efforts. Prior to that, Neil was involved in the formation of a gene chip startup and was a technical consultant for AstraZeneca’s pathway signaling group.

Neil received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from MIT and is the author of several peer-reviewed papers in the fields of oncology and systems biology. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from Stanford University.

Kiran Reddy joined Third Rock Ventures as a Senior Associate in 2008 and was promoted to the position of Principal. As a Principal, Kiran supports and manages various portfolio companies in addition to focusing on new company formation and due diligence.

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Kiran was a management consultant at the Lewin Group within in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice.

Kiran holds MD and MBA degrees from Georgetown University and is a board-certified neurologist who completed his training at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers in the field of neuroimmunology and neurodegenerative diseases.

Christine Siu joined Third Rock Ventures in 2011. She focuses on new company formation and due diligence.

Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Christine was a Vice President at Thomas, McNerney & Partners, a healthcare-dedicated venture capital firm, where she was responsible for evaluating and managing investments. Previously, Christine worked at Warburg Pincus in the healthcare private equity group and Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. in the healthcare investment banking group.

Christine holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from the University of Michigan.
