Zoë Angell joined Third Rock Ventures in 2008. She provides administrative support
to partners and startup portfolio companies. Zoë also manages graphic design projects for the firm.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Zoë has held administrative positions for 15 years, most recently as marketing manager at Jay Peak Resort, where she was responsible for media project management and supported the SVP of sales & marketing.
Zoë holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
Alison Connors joined Third Rock Ventures in 2008 as accounting manager before being promoted to the position of controller. In that role, Alison focuses on financial operations, reporting and analysis for the fund and assisting our new portfolio companies with their initial financial operations.
Alison has 10 years of financial accounting experience within the biotechnology and life science industries.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Alison held various senior financial roles at Prism VentureWorks and Bain Capital. She also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing management and consultant services to biotechnology companies.
Alison holds a BS from Boston College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Marissa Fiorucci joined Third Rock Ventures in 2010. She provides administrative support to our entrepreneurs-in-residence.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Marissa was a tutor in all subjects at Sylvan Learning Center for children K-12. She was also a part-time adolescent life coach who co-created a program used by the Seminole County Sheriff's Department to challenge at-risk youth and their parents to improve communication and resolve family conflict. In addition, she contributed to various research projects in psychology, including that of the Stress Hardiness Institute at the University of California, Irvine.
Marissa holds a BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
Marissa supports Jeff Ishizuka, Dan Lynch and Chris Varma.
Linda Heath joined Third Rock Ventures in 2009. She manages operations and facilities, as well as managing the administrative staff and providing support to a number of our partners and portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Linda has held numerous senior operations management and administrative roles for over 25 years, supporting leaders in the biopharmaceutical industry such as Biogen, ImmuLogic Pharmaceuticals and
Millennium Pharmaceuticals.
Linda supports Mark Levin, Kevin Starr and Kevin Gillis.

Marcia Hemphill joined Third Rock Ventures in 2012. Marcia oversees daily operations as Office Manager of the San Francisco office. She is also the Executive Assistant to our team in the San Francisco office and provides administrative support for our portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Marcia was Owner and Principal Event Planner at a boutique event planning firm in Chicago. Prior to that, she worked with as a Registered Sales Assistant at Oppenheimer & Co. and for several years before that as a Trading Clerk for local market makers on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
Marcia holds a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University.

Lauren Johnson joined Third Rock Ventures in 2010. She focuses on helping with financial operations of the management company, fund reporting and analysis.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Lauren was a supervisory senior associate at Ernst and Young, LLP.
Lauren holds an MSA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, a BS from Fairfield University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Laura Klein joined Third Rock Ventures in 2010. She provides administrative support to several entrepreneurs-in-residence, associates and principals.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Laura held various administrative positions for more than five years, most recently as an administrative assistant at the trust firm Loring, Wolcott and Coolidge. She has also held assistant positions at Monitor Group and Bank of America.
Laura supports Brian Chow, Bob Kamen, Todd Holmes, James McLaughlin, and Deborah Palestrant.
Maribel Laboy joined Third Rock Ventures in 2010. She provides administrative support to a number of our partners, principals and portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Maribel held various administrative positions for over 10 years, most recently as a relationship manager supporting the CEO of Seamans Capital Management in Waltham, MA.
Maribel supports Lou Tartaglia, Neil Exter, Phil Reilly, Steve Paul, Jason Fuller and Kiran Reddy.
Megan Mai joined Third Rock Ventures in 2011. She provides administrative support to a number of partners as well as the recruiting team.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Megan held various administrative and event coordinating positions in the industries of health care, higher education and hospitality, most recently as a Manager at Clover Food Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Megan holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MTS from Boston University.

Chris Robinson joined Third Rock Ventures in 2010.
Chris has more than 15 years of research and development-focused recruiting experience in life sciences and high technology. During his executive search career, Chris has focused on senior level executive searches within R&D organizations of both public and private biopharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Prior to joining Third Rock Ventures, Chris was the co-founder of Pivotal Search, a boutique life sciences executive search and recruiting consulting practice where he led business development and executed searches. Previous to founding Pivotal, Chris was also one of the founding members of a life sciences R&D practice at another national search firm. Before moving to the life sciences industry Chris was the recruiting manager for a venture-backed technology start-up, Taqua Systems, where he helped them grow from 20 people to 300 people in three locations.
Chris holds a BS in Physiology from the University of Massachusetts, and he was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps and he is a Desert Storm veteran.
